ST. GEORGE, Utah-As Dixie State men’s basketball prepares for its initial season as a Division I program, head coach Jon Judkins brought in former East High School (Salt Lake City) star Andre Mulibea.

Mulibea is a 6-6 guard/forward who earned Class 5-A all-state 2nd team honors from The Deseret News.

Mulibea ranked fourth in the state with 24.1 points per game. In showcasing his versatility, he also averaged 7.2 rebounds per game and 2.96 3-pointers per contest for the Leopards.

Mulibea led East to the second round of the 5-A state playoffs where the Leopards bowed out after a 46-43 loss to Timpview.
