MOBILE, Ala.-Wednesday, BYU sophomore offensive lineman Kingsley Suamataia was invited to the Senior Bowl, the top college football all-star game for NFL Draft prospects.
Suamataia was named to the all-Big 12 second team this season and declared for the NFL Draft last month.
Suamataia has also spent time at Oregon during his collegiate career. Prior to playing college football, Suamataia starred at Orem High School.
Suamataia was joined by Utah safeties Cole Bishop and Sione Vaki as underclassmen invited to the Senior Bowl from the Beehive State.
Bishop, a junior, posted 3 sacks, 2 interceptions, and 6.5 tackles for a loss for the Utes last season. Vaki, posted 2 sacks, an interception, and 8.5 tackles for a loss for the Utes last season. Vaki also spent time as a tailback for Utah in 2023, recording 520 scrimmage yards and 5 net touchdowns from that position for the Utes.
