BYU Football To Participate At Big 12 Media Days July 12

ARLINGTON, Texas-Per news released earlier this week, BYU football will participate at its first Big 12 Media Days July 12 at AT&T Stadium of Arlington, Texas.

The Cougars will join fellow Big 12 newcomers Central Florida, Cincinnati and Houston at the proceedings as well as longtime conference members Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Christian, Texas and West Virginia.

The Cougars will be represented by

head coach Kalani Sitake (56-34, .622 at BYU entering his 8th season at the helm)

senior quarterback Kedon Slovis (senior, transfer from USC and Pittsburgh; 58.4 completion percentage, 2,397 yards, 10 TD’s/9 INT’s at Pittsburgh last season)

sophomore receiver Kody Epps (39 rec, 459 yards, 6 TD’s last season)

junior linebacker Ben Bywater (3 interceptions, 2 passes defensed, 4 tackles for a loss last season)

junior defensive end Tyler Batty (2 sacks, 7 tackles for a loss last season)

junior punter Ryan Rehkow (46.2 yards per punt last season).

The Cougars start the season September 2 by hosting Sam Houston at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
