BYU Football Places Four on Senior Bowl Top 300 List

MOBILE, Ala.-Wednesday, BYU football placed four on the Senior Bowl Top 300 list.

They are the only representatives to represent a Utah university on this list and are as follows:

Senior kicker Will Ferrin. Ferrin, a native of Kaysville, Utah and a former Davis High School/Boise State star made 90 percent (24-27) of his field goal attempts last season and all 41 of his PAT attempts.

Senior linebacker Jack Kelly. Kelly, a native of Kearns, Utah and a former standout at Kearns High School and Weber State, posted five sacks, 10 tackles for a loss, two forced fumbles, an interception and a pass breakup last season for the Cougars.

Senior receiver Chase Roberts. Roberts, a native of American Fork, Utah and a former American Fork High School star, hauled in 52 receptions for 854 yards and four touchdowns (16.4 yards per reception) last season.

Senior offensive lineman Weylin Lapuaho. Lapuaho, a former Bingham High School/Utah State standout out of South Jordan, Utah, received all Big-12 honorable mention honors last season for the Cougars.

Ferrin, Kelly, Roberts, Lapuaho and their BYU teammates start the season August 30 by hosting Portland State at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
