LOGAN, Utah-Tuesday, former Milford High School star and University of Utah quarterback Bryson Barnes confirmed his signing with Utah State.

Barnes has two seasons of eligibility remaining for the Aggies.

In his career with the Utes, Barnes went 6-4 and played in 24 games, posting 17 touchdowns, 13 interceptions and 2,025 yards while completing 60.1 percent of his passes.

Barnes will compete against senior Cooper Legas, sophomore McCae Hillstead and former Iowa quarterback, graduate senior Spencer Petras, for the Aggies’ starting quarterback position.

Utah State starts its 2024 season August 31 by hosting NCAA FCS foe Robert Morris.
