Bees Win Second Consecutive Game At Reno Friday

RENO, Nev.-Magneuris Sierra drove in a pair of runs and the Salt Lake Bees bested Reno 6-2 Friday at Greater Nevada Field in Pacific Coast League play, winning their second consecutive game.

Cesar Valdez earned the win on the mound for the Bees, posting eight strikeouts by going the distance for Salt Lake. Valdez improved to 2-1 on the season with the victory.

Monte Harrison and Luis Rengifo also contributed RBI in victory for the Bees, who improved to 9-7 with the win.

Stone Garrett had a 2-run RBI single in the loss for the Aces, who fell to 8-8 in defeat.

The Bees and Aces meet again on the diamond Saturday at 5:05 pm MDT at Reno.
