SALT LAKE CITY-Jose Rojas drove in a pair of runs and the Salt Lake Bees doubled up Reno 4-2 Tuesday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.
Jake Kalish improved to 7-2 on the season by earning the win on the mound for Salt Lake. Kalish posted three strikeouts in six innings of work as the Bees snapped an 8-game losing streak.
Stone Garrett and Camden Duzenack each homered in the loss for the Aces as they fell to 35-32. Salt Lake improved to 32-35 on the season in victory.
The Bees and Aces return to action Wednesday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
