RENO, Nev.-Brendon Davis and Luis Rengifo hit 5th Inning home runs and the Salt Lake Bees bested Reno 7-4 Thursday at Greater Nevada Field.

Davis hit an inside-the-park home run and Rengifo belted a 2-run shot. Kean Wong also added an insurance RBI single for Salt Lake in the 5th Inning for Salt Lake.

Jose Rojas and Dillon Thomas also added RBI for Salt Lake in the victory.

Jhonathan Diaz earned the win on the mound for the Bees, improving to 1-0 on the season. Diaz posted four strikeouts in five innings of work for Salt Lake.

Dominic Miroglio had 2 RBI in defeat for the Aces. Salt Lake improves to 8-7 on the season in victory while Reno falls to 8-7.

The squads meet again Friday at 7:05 pm at Greater Nevada Field.
