(Salt Lake City, UT)  —  The Bees gave up two runs in the ninth inning and fell to the New Orleans Baby Cakes 6-5 at Smith’s Ballpark.

Salt Lake City squandered a 3-0 lead and fell behind 4-3 before rallying to take a 5-4 advantage in the bottom-of-the-eighth.  Jake Jewell was charged with the loss.

The Bees fell to 38-and-27 and have an off day today before opening a three-game set at Oklahoma City.
