COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-Tuesday, Utah State men’s basketball big men Justin Bean and Brandon Horvath made the all-Mountain West Conference team for their contributions to the Aggies’ success this season.
Bean (17.9 points, 9.9 rebounds per game) made the all-conference second team with Horvath (14 points, 6.3 rebounds per contest) earning third-team all-conference honors.
Bean has amassed a Mountain West-best 19 double doubles this season, ranking him seventh nationally.
Horvath, who shoots 52.1 percent (158-303) this season for the Aggies, is one of of four players in the Mountain West to shoot 50 percent or better from the field.
Bean, Horvath and their Aggies teammates commence the Mountain West Tournament as the No. 7 seed by facing No. 10 Air Force Wednesday afternoon at the Thomas & Mack Center of Las Vegas.
