SPANISH FORK, Utah-Saturday morning, Richfield, Juab, Manti, North Sanpete and North Sevier competed at the 2023 UIAAA Invitational hosted by the Spanish Fork Sports Park. The American Fork girls won the team title with 47 points with a net of 62 based on placement. This is how the Cavemen achieved the team title over Lone Peak. The Knights also posted 47 points but they had a net of 79 because of placement. For Mid-Utah Radio Sports Network schools for the girls, Manti finished 23rd with a score of 660 and Richfield placed 24th with a score of 661.
For the girls, the individual winner was Grand’s star senior runner Cadence Kasprick (17:53.60).

For the boys, the Herriman Mustangs took the team title with a score of 39. The Mustangs easily outdistanced second-place Lone Peak. The Knights recorded a score of 119. For Mid-Utah Radio Sports Network schools, Richfield placed 21st (a score of 598), Manti placed 23rd (a score of 652), North Sanpete placed 27th (a score of 817) and North Sevier placed 28th (a score of 819).
The individual boys winner was Kyle Steadman of Mountain View, who posted a time of 14:52.80.
