(Moab, UT) — Parts of southern and eastern Utah are going to be dealing with heavy winds today. The National Weather Service says a Wind Advisory will be in place as winds could gust as high as 50 miles per hour throughout the day. The impacted areas are expected to be the Western Uinta Basin, Castle Country, San Rafael Swell, Western Canyonlands, and the Glen Canyon and Lake Powell areas. Forecasters warn of difficult driving conditions and the possibility of blowing dust and power outages.
