(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah’s state motto will be getting a one-day makeover to promote kindness. Governor Spencer Cox has ordered the motto changed from “The Beehive State” to “The Be Kind State” tomorrow. The declaration is part of a campaign by a Utah-based organization that wants to encourage more acts of kindness worldwide. An event will be held at the Gallivan Center in Salt Lake City to kick off the campaign.
