(West Valley City, UT) — Utah’s first lady is helping roll out a nationwide program meant to promote kindness and inclusiveness in schools. First Lady Abby Cox was at Gerald L. Wright Elementary School yesterday to talk with students and challenge them to include others in activities and conversations. The West Valley City School is part of the Choose Kindness program, an initiative sponsored by the Fredette Family Foundation and the Cook Center for Human Connection. The program encourages children to embrace kindness as a way to help students feel accepted and supported by their peers.
