(Undated) — Parts of Utah are set for heavy snowfall and rain after a dry January. The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the Wasatch and Western Uinta mountains, with up to two feet of snow expected. A winter weather advisory is also in effect for central mountains, which may receive up to a foot of snow. The storm is forecast to bring strong rain to northern Utah valleys, with more storms likely in the coming weeks. Unseasonably warm temperatures are also expected next week.
