(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah teachers will be seeing a salary hike. Governor Spencer Cox and state leaders announced Friday that K-12 public school teachers will receive “direct salary increases” of just over 14-hundred dollars. They’re also slated to get a one-thousand dollar bonus. Cox says he is committed to ensuring that educators have the resources they need to do their jobs effectively.
