(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah has more than 30 athletes representing the state at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Team USA has 23 Olympians with ties to the Beehive State. Adding to that number are eleven athletes who once lived or competed in the state. These athletes are on seven international teams including five with Team Canada, and one each for Japan, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway and Sweden. Nine current or former BYU athletes are among those in Paris. The University of Utah will be represented by seven athletes and Utah State has one alumnus at the Games.
