(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah’s flu season is expected to be quite rough. That’s the analysis of the state’s epidemiologist. She tells KUTV that this year’s strain, Influenza A, is hitting the world hard. The Department of Health and Human Services says they have seen nearly 400 hospitalizations so far. Getting vaccinated can offer protection, as can hand washing and avoiding sick people.
