(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah just experienced its warmest year in nearly a century. Newly released data from the federal government shows 2025 was the warmest year in the state since 1934. Last year, Utah’s statewide average temperature was 59-point-nine degrees. Scientists say it’s part of a trend. Outside of the year 1934, nine of the 10 warmest years in Utah’s recorded history happened in the 21st century.
