(Salt Lake City, UT) — Several big TV and movie projects will be coming to Utah for filming this summer. The Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity approved state incentives for 13 projects last week. Among the projects approved are a new western by Kevin Costner and a limited series from “Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan. The Utah Film Commission estimates the projects will have an economic impact of 142-million dollars, with 90-percent of the productions being filmed in rural Utah.
