UT State Senator Criticizes School Bible Ban, Says Inappropriate Books Remain

(Farmington, UT) — A Utah State Senator is criticizing the Davis School District for banning the Bible while allowing more inappropriate books to stay on the shelves. Republican Senator John Johnson argues the district has left books in schools that are clearly pornographic and in violation of state law. He made those comments yesterday at the Education Interim Committee’s hearing on the district’s “sensitive materials” policy.
