(Salt Lake City, UT) — Motorcycle-related fatalities on Utah roads have reached a new high. The Utah Department of Transportation and Department of Public Safety released preliminary data for 2024. According to UDOT, 53 motorcyclists died. That’s a 15-year high. Most were single-vehicle crashes involving single riders, often attributed to loss of control, speed or lack of protective gear.
