University of Utah Boosts Police After Bomb Threat

(Salt Lake City, UT) — The University of Utah is increasing police presence on campus after a bomb threat was called in yesterday afternoon. Salt Lake City 9-1-1 received the call just after 4 p.m., but the threat showed “hallmarks of a hoax,” with vague locations and descriptions. University officials said additional police patrols are being deployed out of caution.
