(Salt Lake City, UT) — Crews are working to make Utah freeways safer. UDOT is finding new technologies so drivers can see those highway lines, especially during a storm. Reflective beads are typically used in either paint or tape strips that get replaced as needed. But now, black and white stripes will be used to stand out even more. It’s already happening in some counties, but will be laid down next year across all major highways.
