UDOT Installing Wrong-Way Driver Detection System

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Salt Lake City is getting a wrong-way driver detection system. The Utah Department of Transportation will install the new technology at 20 locations on highways across the state, primarily along I-15 in Salt Lake. The system uses lights to alert drivers they’re going the wrong way and notifies UDOT and the Highway Patrol.
