Two more confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Central Utah Health District

Over the past week there has been two new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Central Utah Health District.

The first case was in Juab County and was confirmed on May 9. The individual is between the ages of 45 and 64 and is recovering at home. This individual contracted COVID-19 from a known case outside of the district.

The second case was in Millard County and was confirmed on May 12. The individual is also between the ages of 45 and 64 and recovering at home. This individual had no exposure to a known case and it is likely that they contracted COVID-19 through community spread.

Overall there has been 29 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Central Utah Health District. As of May 14 there are 7 active cases in the district with no current hospitalizations and zero deaths.
