(Cedar City, UT) — “Live, learn and leave a legacy” is the message Southern Utah University President Mindy Benson is sending to this year’s graduating class. S-U-U held its 125th Commencement Ceremony on Wednesday as more than three-thousand graduates received degrees. Benson told the graduates she “sat in the very same place” as an S-U-U graduate 30 years ago and cautioned them not to miss their life or “wish it away waiting for the big moments.” She also said learning doesn’t end at graduation, calling learning “a lifelong journey.”
