It weighs factors including cost of living, average life expectancy, health rates in residents over 60 and the number of senior centers per state. The top state for senior happiness is Utah with a happiness score of seven-point-69 out of 10. The other happiest states for seniors include Idaho, Connecticut, Delaware, Nebraska, Hawaii, New Hampshire, Minnesota, New Jersey and Vermont.
