Around 1:30 p.m. Mar. 10 officers and firefighters responded to a structure fire near 348 North 600 West in Richfield. According to a post to the Richfield City Police Facebook page, “upon arrival, responders found a carport located behind the residence fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters from the Richfield Fire Department acted quickly and were able to bring the fire under control in a short period of time, preventing the flames from spreading to nearby structures.” No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
