State Senate Passes $40M Bill To Help Great Salt Lake

(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Utah legislature is trying to finish its business as the regular session draws to a close this week. The state Senate voted in favor of a 40-million-dollar bill aimed at helping preserve and restore the Great Salt Lake. The bill sponsored by House Speaker Brad Wilson is designed to acquire more water rights to help increase the size of the lake and restore habitats affected by the drought.
