State Senate Committee Approves Steed As Great Salt Lake Commissioner

(Salt Lake City, UT) — The state Senate committee is giving its approval to the man selected to be the first Great Salt Lake commissioner. Brian Steed was confirmed by the Senate Natural Resources Committee yesterday. Steed will be in charge of implementing policies designed to put water back into the lake and preserve the area’s wildlife and environment. His nomination will now go to the full Senate for a final vote.
