(Sanpete County, UT) — Sheriff’s deputies are asking for a raise from the Sanpete County Commission. Yesterday, deputies threatened to leave their jobs if they weren’t paid more. Speaking to Fox 13, one deputy said they make six-dollars an hour less than neighboring agencies. Sheriff Jared Buchanan said they have “well over” a 100-percent turnover rate.
