(Monroe, UT) — Crews are searching a remote area in Garfield County for a missing man. A vehicle belonging to Austin Madsen of Mapleton was found at a trailhead near Mount Dutton earlier this week. He was apparently snowshoeing in the area before he disappeared. Searchers on horseback have been searching for Madsen’s footprints and other indications of his location. Drones are also being utilized in the search.
