The future of the Sanpete County Regional Airport is secure after a new 20-year interlocal agreement was signed between Sanpete County, Ephraim City, and Manti City. The deal replaces a handshake arrangement that’s been in place since 1941. All three entities will now share equal ownership, costs, and operations of the airport, which serves general aviation, flight training, and small-business transport across central Utah.
