(Provo, UT) — Incoming LDS missionaries will no longer need to show proof they are vaccinated against COVID-19, or have a negative COVID-19 test. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints changed its health and safety policies for the Missionary Training Center in Provo. Masks are also optional as COVID-19 case rates decline. In April 2021, Church officials added the COVID-19 vaccine among the required immunizations for all missionaries who serve abroad.
