(Salt Lake City, UT) — Protesters gathered in Salt Lake City last night to call for a halt to attacks along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. About 50 demonstrators gathered at the Wallace F. Bennett Federal Building downtown to ask Congress to take action. Armenian activists say U-S military aid to Azerbaijan is pushing Armenian citizens into the arms of Russia. They estimate about 35-hundred Armenian families live in Utah.
