Utah voters will head to the polls Tuesday Aug. 12 for the primary election municipal races. Mail in ballots have already been sent out, but there is no postmark deadline. Under a rule change this year ballots must be received by 8:00 p.m. on Election day. They can also be dropped off at an approved drop box. On Tuesday polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. To see a full list of candidates, in person voting locations or drop box locations please visit your county website. Local election results will be posted on midutahradio.com as they become available. In Ephraim, Troy Birch has withdrawn after being appointed to fill a vacancy, but his name will still be on the ballot. Any votes cast for him will not count.
