New LDS Relief Society Cause: Nourish Moms, Kids Worldwide

(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is launching a new global effort to improve the health and development of young children and their mothers. The church’s worldwide women’s Relief Society will lead the initiative. It will focus specifically on increasing access to nutrition, immunizations, and maternal and newborn care. It will be an expansion of child nutrition programs underway in countries throughout Africa, Asia, and Central America.
