Monroe Canyon Fire Update The Monroe Canyon Fire in Sever County Continues to burn. As of this morning, the fire is listed at 71,884 acres and is 36 percent contained. There are currently 1,506 personnel assigned to fight the fire and the cause is still under investigation.
