Just after 4:00 p.m. on May 28, the Richfield Communication Center received a call about a small child with autism who had walked away from his residence in Richfield and had been missing for about an hour. An alert was sent out to local residents and the child was located by a neighbor just after 5:00 p.m. The child was located a block east of his house in an unoccupied vehicle. The Richfield City Police shared in a post to their Facebook page, “thanks to all those who assisted in looking for, and locating the child.”
