(Salt Lake City, UT) — The local chapter of the American Red Cross is pleading for blood donations. Sarah Martin with the Utah Red Cross tells they’re “significantly short right now.” Since the organization shares supplies across the country, the shortage is felt everywhere. The Red Cross says they’re short by about 30-thousand units. Folks can schedule an appointment to donate blood at Red-Cross-Blood-dot-org.
