Judge Dismisses Charges In Road Rage Conflict

(Cedar City, UT) — Some charges are being dropped against a man accused of shooting another person in Cedar City last year. It happened last June when Jason Stolworthy allegedly shot the victim during a road rage confrontation, but Stolworthy claimed self-defense in the incident. The court agreed and deemed Robert Mabbit, the man who was allegedly shot, as the primary aggressor in the situation. Charges of discharging a firearm and aggravated assault were dismissed, but Stolworthy still faces reckless driving and obstruction of justice charges.
