(Salt Lake City, UT) — Jobless claims in Utah are up from last week. According to the latest U.S. Department of Labor report, there were 140 more unemployment filings for the week ending April 20th than in the previous week. A total of 16-hundred-57 claims for unemployment benefits were filed last week, up from 15-hundred-17. While jobless claims rose in Utah, claims went down nationally.
