Just before 3:00 p.m. on Apr. 22, Juab County deputies were dispatched to the Sand Mountain Campground at Little Sahara on a medical call involving an unresponsive infant in cardiac arrest. Deputies that were at a nearby motorcycle race responded to the scene. Upon their arrival, they began giving the infant CPR. Moments later, an ambulance arrived and took over life-saving measures. After some time, the infant was pronounced dead at the scene. This is an active investigation and we will update you with more information as it becomes available.
