(St. George, UT) — Jeffrey R. Holland and his wife are together again after he was laid to rest beside her in his native St. George. The body of the Quorum of the 12 Apostles president was buried yesterday in a private ceremony after a funeral Wednesday in Salt Lake City. While Holland’s body was en route to the cemetery, people lined the streets of St. George to say goodbye. The scene moved at least one woman to tears. She tells the St. George News that Elder Holland was one of the greats and absolutely one of her favorite apostles ever.
