Governor Issues State Of Emergency For Three Flooded Counties

(Beaver, UT) — Governor Spencer Cox is issuing a state of emergency for three counties hard hit by flooding. The declaration covers Beaver, Piute and Sevier counties and will last at least 30 days. It’ll expedite help from state and federal agencies. More flooding is expected in some of those areas. The Cottonwood Fire and the Monroe Canyon Fire have left burn scars that make flooding dramatically worse.
