Fountain Green residents who were affected by the flash flood on August 18 of this year may be able to get help from State and City funds to replace furnaces, water heaters, air conditioning and ductwork. The city has received $150,000 in funds from the Utah Division of Emergency Management and has $50,000 in city funds and in-kind assistance to add to that. Mayor Mark Coombs said the money is available to citizens who suffered flood damage. City officials have reached out to residents they knew had water damage, but they would like residents who have flood damage and have not yet been contacted to call the city office during business hours for more information.
