One person is dead after a two-vehicle crash on SR-24 in Sevier County. The crash occurred near milepost 8 shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Dec. 11. According to the Utah Department of Transportation, a Nissan Pathfinder was traveling westbound, getting ready to turn north on SR-259. They did not notice an eastbound Nissan Sentra traveling through the intersection. The Pathfinder turned into the oncoming Sentra, striking the front driver’s side. The driver of the Sentra died from their injuries, while the driver of the Pathfinder was uninjured.
