Around 6:30 a.m. on July 13, Sevier County deputies responded to a fatal car crash south of Aurora on the interchange road. Someone had seen a car on its roof off the road and contacted authorities. According to Sevier County Sheriff Nathan Curtis, “arriving on the scene authorities found 19-year-old Caliber Nelson from Redmond deceased.” It is currently unknown when the crash took place, but it is believed that speed was a factor in the crash.
