Beginning on Thursday, August 22, construction crews will start paving the Ephraim Canyon road. The project began in May and has included rehabilitation and paving of almost five miles of the road from the end of the existing pavement to the Lake Hill Campground turn-off. Work also included drainage improvements and a parking/turnaround area at the forest boundary. The paving project is expected to take about three weeks to complete, depending on the weather. Anyone traveling on the Ephraim Canyon road should expect delays.
